Whether you grew up down the street or you’re brand new to Victoria, you’re in for a warm welcome from the whole UVic community when you get here. Your first few weeks will be filled with new information, experiences, and connections, and our Weeks of Welcome orientation programs will help you make sense of it all!

2013 Weeks of Welcome Events

  • Jump Start Tours - Weekdays at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm from August 19 30
  • International Student Welcome - Friday, August 30
  • Residence Move-In - Sunday, September 1
  • Parent Orientation - Sunday, September 1
  • New Student Orientation - Tuesday, September 3
  • Graduate Student Welcome - Friday, September 6 (To be confirmed)
  • Thunder Fest - Friday, September 6
  • Indigenous Student Week of Welcome - September 9 to 13 (To be confirmed)
